What’s Some Advice From When You Were Young?

Throughout the years good advice probably comes to all of us in troves.

Did I follow any or even a bit? Not so much, especially when I was younger. The younger version of me heard guidance like, don’t hang out with the wrong crowd; this advice helps keep you from guilt by association.

Well, when I was a teen, I usually did the exact opposite of any healthy suggestion. I wanted to pick the misfits and the bad kids. My reasoning was simple; you really don’t have to keep up with the Jones, if you look like you are from the wrong side of the tracks.

No one pays attention to the not normal kids or the in-between-ers , in fact, popular teens avoid what looks like a risk. They believe in the guilt by association strategy, also perhaps the popular teens are always a little afraid of the dark.
